A logo becoming an icon: true shape morphing
Start with the example nothing else in the category does the same way: a circle becoming a star, a wordmark becoming a glyph, running live in front of you. What you are watching is the outline itself reshaping across the timeline — not two stacked pictures dissolving into each other. And because it is not a slide transition, it happens mid-slide, while the presenter keeps talking over the same slide.
If you arrived from animated PowerPoint examples, this is the point to get your bearings: PowerPoint’s Morph interpolates two matched objects across a slide advance, which is a genuinely different mechanism, covered in full on the morph transition page. A .pptx opens here but is never produced, and its animations do not come with it — so this is a technique to rebuild in the editor.
A camera-like move: curved paths and orient-to-path
A second live example: an object arcing across the slide on a smooth curve, rotating to face its direction of travel, then decelerating into place on an easing curve — the kind of move that reads like a camera following the action.
How it was built is short enough to teach. Two position keyframes, and then the motion dots dragged on the canvas to bend the path and shape the arc. Orient-to-path is the switch that makes the object turn to face where it is going, so an arrow or a plane points along its route rather than sliding sideways.
Headline treatments: photo-filled, extruded and outlined text
Typography, running live: a headline filled with a photograph, one extruded into 3D, one outlined, one backed with a hard block shadow — plus a typewriter entrance that types itself out, and a flat-to-3D reveal that stands the letters up.
These are six one-click looks, and every setting stays editable afterwards, so the photo-fill or the extrude is a starting point you keep adjusting rather than a stamp you commit to. Fourteen fonts ship with the product.
Reveals: clipping masks and gradient fade masks
Two reveal examples. In the first, text is cut out of a moving photograph with a clipping mask — a softened edge, an invert switch — so the picture shows through the letterforms. In the second, a layer fades out along a gradient mask.
The teaching point is the same for both: the mask itself is animatable. That means the reveal is the animation — the shape of what is hidden and what is shown changes over time — rather than a plain fade laid on top of a static cut-out.
Atmosphere: conic gradients, frosted glass, soft edges and glow
The effects a designer normally opens an image editor for: a conic gradient sweeping around a point, a frosted-glass panel blurring the artwork behind it, feathered edges softening a hard boundary, a neon outer glow.
All of it renders live in the browser — including on the audience’s screen during a talk — rather than being flattened into an exported picture. There is no export here, so nothing is ever baked; the atmosphere is computed on the spot, every time the slide plays.
Composites: sixteen blend modes and per-layer colour grading
Compositing examples — a duotone, a scrim over a photo, a colour wash — built from sixteen blend modes together with per-layer colour grading. The grading controls are worth naming so you know what to look for in the editor: brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, black and white, sepia and blur, each applied to any layer.
Watch one play rather than sit still: the grading and the blend are animatable like anything else, so a photo can drift from full colour into a duotone across the slide instead of simply being one or the other.

None of these examples can be downloaded, exported or handed over as a file, and there is no template to start from. A published deck does get its own link and an embed code. That is not a limitation being softened — it is how the product is built.

Can I download these animated presentation examples?
No. There is no download and no export anywhere in the product — not for these examples and not for your own decks. A deck share link and an embed do exist, once a deck is published. Each example is here to be watched and understood, and every section above explains how the effect was built so you can reproduce it in the editor in a few minutes. If you were hoping for a file to open in another tool, this is not the page or the product for it.
Are these built from templates I can start from?
No, and we ship no templates at all — no starter gallery, no theme packs, no guided first-run tour. Every example above was built from ordinary layers, keyframes and effects that are available to you the moment the editor opens. That is a real trade-off: you get more motion control than template tools offer, and you do not get a one-click starting point.
Can you animate in PowerPoint like this?
Partly. PowerPoint gives you entrance and exit animations, motion paths and the Morph transition, which covers some of what you see above. What it does not give you is a keyframe timeline on arbitrary properties, motion paths you reshape by dragging dots on the canvas, outline-level morphing that runs mid-slide, or animatable clipping masks and blend modes. The other difference is the delivery: a PowerPoint file travels, and a deck here does not — it is performed live instead. A .pptx can be imported, but its animations are not part of the trip and there is no export, so this is mostly a choice of where to build.
What do people on Reddit recommend for animated presentations?
The threads split almost perfectly by deliverable, which is a useful way to read them. If someone needs a rendered video, the answers converge on After Effects, Powtoon, Vyond or Animaker. If they need a file to send, it is PowerPoint, Canva or Google Slides. The case those threads rarely have an answer for is the one this product is built for: deep motion authoring where the deck is performed to a live audience rather than exported — so weigh the recommendations by what you actually have to hand over at the end.
Is this motion graphics or presentation software?
Both halves, honestly. The authoring surface is motion-graphics shaped — keyframes on any property, spline paths, orient-to-path, real shape morphing, masks, blend modes, colour grading, a multi-track audio timeline — and the delivery is presentation shaped, with slides, transitions, per-slide timing and a live audience room. What it is not is a motion-graphics tool in the usual sense, because those exist to render a file and this product never produces one.
