Animation you direct on the canvas

Set a keyframe at the playhead, or turn on record and simply move things, then drag the motion dots right on the canvas to retime and reshape the move. Choose straight or smoothly curved motion, and let a layer turn to face the direction it is travelling. It is direct manipulation rather than a table of numbers.

True morphing and design-grade effects

One shape genuinely becomes another over time — a circle into a star, your logo into an icon — with the outline actually reshaping rather than crossfading. On top of that sit clipping masks, gradient fade masks, conic gradients, texture-filled text, 3D extrude, frosted glass, feathered edges and sixteen blend modes, all animatable. These are effects usually reserved for image editors, here rendered live in the browser.

Sound on its own timeline

Layer music, voiceover and effects on separate tracks, trim either end, split at the playhead, fade in and out, set volume and place a sound left or right in the stereo field. A multi-track audio timeline inside a presentation editor is rare — slide tools give you one background track at best.

The animation is played, not exported

Here is the honest constraint that shapes everything: there is no MP4 or GIF render and no video export. The animation is not turned into a file — it is played live to your audience, whose browsers run the real effects in step with you. If you specifically need an animated video to upload to YouTube or send by email, DeckSlide does not produce one, and a video maker is the right tool for that.
